Móttøka U17 endaspælið í fótbólti

Seinnapartin í gjár var móttøka í Müllers Pakkhúsi í sambandi við U17 endaspælið í fótbólti hjá kvinnum, sum verður spælt í Havn og í Klaksvík. 

Fleiri røður vóru á skránni til móttøkuna. Eisini Elsa Berg, borgarstjóri, segði nøkur orð.

-  Not only do we celebrate women’s football in the Faroe Islands these weeks. These weeks are also historical, because this is the first time we host such a significant final tournament, and we are incredibly proud that Tórshavn, together with Klaksvík, has been chosen as the venue.    

- We believe strongly in the power of sport to bring people together and to inspire dreams for the future. Events like this don’t just happen on their own – they are the result of passion, planning, and dedication. So let me extend my sincere thanks to the Football Association of the Faroe Islands, the organizers, the coaches, the volunteers, and all those who have worked tirelessly to make this weekend a success. Your effort is deeply appreciated.

- Most of all, I want to express my deep admiration for the young players taking part in this tournament. They are the heart of this event. Their dedication, teamwork and love for the game are what truly define this competition. They represent the future of football, and we are proud of every single one of them. Enjoy the games, support each other, and remember – this is your moment.
